Award winning actor Jimmy Akingbola has created a genuine buzz for himself within the British acting scene. A graduate from ALRA drama school, Jimmy has been fortunate to work consistently within TV, Film and theatre since he left drama school.

A lover of the stage, it’s no surprise this is where Jimmy first began his craft at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre, working for award winning British theatre director Bill Alexander. He’s since continued working with some of the best theatre directors in the UK. Jimmy has also gone onto work at some of the UK’s most established theatres too including the Royal National Theatre, RSC, Soho Theatre and The Theatre Royal Stratford East. He has worked alongside recognised actors such as Sir Ian McKellen, Leslie Phillips, Roger Lloyd Pack, Aml Ameen, Riz Ahmed and Fraser Ayres.

Fast forward to 2011, a year which sees Jimmy becoming a regular face on TV with the re commissioning of BBC hit comedy “REV” playing the character of ‘Mick’ and BBC1 drama Holby City as Antoine Malick aka “The Malick”.

Outside of acting, Jimmy is one third of Triforce Promotions, a networking and promotions company which aims to bring the London acting community together under a monthly events calendar from club nights and screenings which has seen the likes of James Corden pass through their doors.
