Smiler is set to take the music world by storm in 2012. The south Londoner has already created waves on the underground via a series of releases that have been supported by stations such as BBC 1Xtra, Radio 1, Kiss and Choice FM. Smiler is now set for mainstream success after being tipped by DJs, bloggers and broadcasters as “the next big thing”

Smiler has been endorsed by key tastemakers such as Mistajam, Tim Westwood, Zane Lowe and Twin B. Other important DJs have also supported Smiler including Semtex, DJ Target, Manny Norte and Huw Stephens. It’s not just DJs that support Smiler, he’s been publicly praised by fellow artists such as Kelly Rowland, Big Boi from Outkast and Nas. Smiler has also been tipped by MTV, The Independent and also featured in The Sun newspaper.

Smiler’s previous mixtape ‘Clarity‘ showcased his lyrical ability and featured collaborations from top UK acts such as Tinie Tempah and Manga from Roll Deep. The main single ‘Enza‘ ended up on the BBC Radio 1 & 1Xtra playlists and  Wiley & GFrsh appeared on the songs official remix. The successful ‘Clarity’ project led to Smiler inking a recording deal with Warner Records and the bar has been raised yet again with Smiler’s 2012 mixtape ‘All I Know’ – it features the smash record ‘Delorean‘ with Wretch 32 plus other big records that highlight Smiler’s ability to create music that connects with a national audience.
