The Hub Entertainment are pleased to announce Pittsburgh rapper ‘Mac Miller‘ has been added to the BBC 1Xtra Playlist with his brand new single ‘Frick Park Market‘

Hip hop’s rising star Malcolm ‘Mac Miller’ McCormack has gone from being a local sensation in his native Pittsburgh to selling out venues on both sides of the Atlantic. A multi-instrumentalist inspired by artists like The Beastie Boys and Outkast, Miller has been generating a big buzz since his first songs were released in 2007 – and now a West Country audience will be able to see why. His debut LP, ‘Blue Slide Park’ debuted at number one on the US Billboard in 2011, making him the first independent artist to do so in a decade. The album and single are both to be released on May 21st.

British electronic dance music and clubbing magazine Mix Mag featured Sony signed rising artist EJ on their online site.

Growing up in a small town in Sweden, Mix Mag talks about EJ moving with her family to London at the age of 12 and her single ‘Mama I’m Gonna Sing’ being remixed by the likes of Pete Tong and Jamie Jones.

‘London shaped my sound. I got into UK garage. But I still had all the musical influences from Sweden, too.’ she states in her feature.
